Typical heating and air conditioning ducts are coated with a thick layer of dust that can contain animal dander, bacteria, dust mites, fungi, mold, pollen and more…even construction debris from when your home or business was built or remodeled!
Many of the particles are too small to be captured by your furnace filter. That means every time your HVAC system starts, it spews an invisible cloud of contaminants into the air you and your family or customers breathe. These particles can aggravate allergies, asthma and other breathing disorders. Having clean duct work can also drastically reduce heating and cooling costs by increasing your system efficiency.
Apollo uses advanced Rotobrush equipment to clean your ducts. It’s the only duct cleaning process that simultaneously brushes and vacuums at the point of contact. A rotating brush loosens dust and debris that is immediately captured by a dual HEPA filtered vacuum. And unlike duct cleaners who use high pressure compressed air cleaning methods, the soft bristle brushes we use do not damage fragile flex ducting. We are happy to perform a free video inspection and estimate, and, as always, all of our work is backed with the 100% satisfaction guaranteed Apollo Promise—”If any service that we provide does not live up to your expectations, we’ll make it right.”
1) Free Video Inspection / System Analysis. During the free video inspection and HVAC system analysis, an Apollo representative will come to your home to take a look at your system and air ducts and gather information necessary to provide you with a free estimate. We start by determining the type of system you have, as well as the size of the filters it takes. We then will count the number of openings in your system and choose one for the video inspection. Our representative will remove a cover from one of the return openings and insert a camera for a live view of the inside of your duct work.
2) No Obligation Price Quote. Within a day or so of the video inspection, our representative will contact you with a price quote for cleaning your air ducts.
3) Scheduling. Should you decide to proceed with the air duct cleaning, we will schedule an appointment that works for you.
4) Cleaning. First, our technician will remove and clean all of the register covers to remove soil buildup. We then deep clean the source of the air supply including (where applicable) the blower, coils, condensation pan and return air supply. The air ducts are then brush vacuumed clean with our exclusive, patented Rotobrush. We start with the opening furthest from your HVAC unit, then work our way back toward the unit. When we are finished cleaning, we will then perform another video inspection so you can see the difference duct cleaning made!
